High Grange At Home - Mother's Day Lobster Feast
After the year we’ve had, we feel it’s important to celebrate when we can. So, at Sara’s request (and to be served after an extensive lie in, breakfast in bed, a wild Lyme Bay swim and some Dalwood fizz), Luke is cooking a lobster feast for takeaway on Mother’s Day.

An Update From High Grange
We have been inundated with queries about when our feast nights are resuming. We’re sorry to have kept you waiting so long, but as you can imagine it’s been hard to envisage how we can do a safe, socially distant communal dining experience that is close to the High Grange feasts we knew and loved before.
We’re delighted to let you know what we are planning for the next few months at High Grange, and how we plan on safely getting you back here.
3 more feast dates announced
We’ve launched 3 more feast nights on the 28th March, 9th May and 23rd May (the start of May half term). We are planning on more fire pits, more cooking on asado grills over fire and smoke, and more eating under the stars. If not, we’ll get the log burner going in the Shippen.
Our first feast night!
On 1st February we hosted our first feasters in our newly decorated Shippen. A selection of our favourite photos are below!
The menu included Dalwood Vineyard sparkling wine with homemade cherry vodka, wild mallard parfait with chicken skin crackers, dorset blue vinny cheese and thyme honey, jerusalem artichoke with truffle, lyme bay crab and scallop with seaweed butter, smoked mallard breast and confit leg scrumpet, goat sorpotel with crispy goat breast and beetroot raita, and white miso ice cream with Dalwood walnut brittle. All local seasonal food supplied by talented local businesses including Cabrito Goat, Trill Farm Gardens and Lyme Bay Fish. Photos are by Matt Austin.
Limited tickets still available for feast nights!
Just to let you know, our 1st February feast is now sold out, but we still have limited tickets available for our Saturday 15th February feast night, and a number of tickets remain for our feasts on Saturday 14th March and our Easter Sunday lunch on 12th April.
We will also shortly be announcing our new “Experience” days - so if you ever wanted to spend the morning in the sea fishing for mackerel, and the rest of the day cooking over fire and eating at a lovely oak table in our woods, then keep an eye out for upcoming News.
New Feasts Announced!
We are delighted to announce the dates of our next 2 feasts!
On 14th March we will be having our first Feast night of the Spring - welcoming you with a drink around the fire pit, followed by a seasonal locally produced 5 course meal (we will be posting more about our incredible suppliers soon too).
Luke Mackay's (Anti) Valentine's Feast
We’re sorry to say that our first feast on 1st February is now sold out, but there are still limited tickets remaining for our feast on Saturday 15th February.
We are calling it Anti Valentine’s for a number of reasons. First, Valentine’s can suck if you find yourself on your own for whatever reason and don’t want to be. Or you just want to eat out that night but can’t find a spare table amongst all the fawning couples.
