HIGH GRANGE IS HIRING!

Because things are getting very real we need some help with both Front of House and in the (outdoor) kitchen. You will be working very closely with the owners (Luke & Sara)- we are a tiny team- that’s it! You will need to be all-rounders and get stuck in, ideally with a smile on your face (unlike me most of the time)

We will pay a fair hourly wage dependent on experience and you will get paid for every minute that you work. There will be a lot of good food and the odd glass of nice wine. If you’re ambitious there are opportunities to excel and grow as we do. We are literally a tiny family business and we’d love to nurture you as we grow. We have lots of exciting plans for the future. Both roles could very easily become full time, certainly during the summer months.

FOH:

We are looking for an experienced FOH professional who can help us deliver amazing service to our guests. We specialise in communal feasting in a beautiful, relaxed environment. You’ll know how to pour wine, lay up a beautiful table and serve food confidently and knowledgeably. You’ll be the crucial link between the kitchen and the dining table and deal with any issues calmly and politely. You will help us set up and clear down and be comfortable supervising more junior staff as we grow.

Approx 20hr/week

Outdoor Kitchen::

I don’t know how to describe this role really. I need someone to help me with everything from chopping wood and washing up to plating up a tasting menu and butchering a deer and everything in between. Someone that I can teach and learn from. You might have restaurant experience or you might just love food, especially cooked over fire. You might be studying or fancy a career change. You might have just finished school or just retired. You might be looking for part time after maternity leave or you might have just left the army. I have no idea what I’m looking for except to say that I’ll know it when I see it. The most important thing for me is that you’re open-minded, keen to learn and that we like each other. Everything else will fall into place.
