High Grange wins at the Food Drink Devon awards
Well we had a cracking night at the Food Drink Devon awards last night!
We won the Training School category, winning Gold awards for both our Fire Schools and, testament to Luke as a chef, for Fine Dining for our Feast nights, for which we got down to the finalists in the Pub category.
We have to thank our wonderful staff who’ve worked tirelessly this year and, to the brilliant local producers and suppliers we work with, and to our adopted Devon home and fellow hospitality professionals for the support (although we were reminded last night that Luke’s great grandfather was the manager of the Honiton Co-op so we are only half grockel…). To have what we’ve worked so hard for recognised in this way is incredible.
We are delighted to be at the forefront of making British Fire Cooking the best it can be, showing you can do fine dining outdoors whatever the weather, and we’re proud as punch for all we’ve achieved.
Final Fire School of the Year
We’re delighted to end our 2023 Season with such a bang and will be celebrating at our very final Fire School of the year which is next Friday 13th October. Come join us for what promises to be a brilliant day of cooking on our fantastic collection of Kamado Joe ceramic barbecues, our Vulcanus grill, our fire pits and even in the pit in the ground. Its an autumnal day spent in the woods with a cold beer and as much food as you can possibly eat!
You can book here.
High Grange at Home Takeaways
Our takeaway offering continues this Friday, where you can pick up your Texas BBQ supper from High Grange at 5-6.30pm. You can book in here.
Smoked Brisket Sandwiches
Red Cabbage Slaw
Smashed Fire-Pit Potatoes
HG Hot Sauce Dipping Gravy
We’re off to rest our slightly sore heads from last night but we’ll be announcing our 2024 Season dates in the next week so do keep your eyes peeled for that!
Thanks as ever for your support.
