Taste East Devon event - Steak Masterclass & Lunch - Sunday 10th September 12-4pm
We’re delighted to again be hosting a Taste East Devon event here at High Grange on Sunday 10th of September.
For the last few years we’ve been shouting quite a lot about our ex-dairy beef from Oli at Meat Matters. I’m not necessarily one for hyperbole but I genuinely believe this is the best beef in the world (and we are told time and again its the best our guests have ever tasted). If you like beef cooked over charcoal and wood then this really is for you. We do a ‘steak master class’ on our full day fire school, our half day fire school and recently I’ve been travelling around the south west from Dorchester to Woolacombe doing a steak demo for hungry festival-goers.
You will arrive at 12pm at High Grange in glorious September sunshine (you will! A disappointingly wet Summer has to be followed by a kick ass September) and be greeted by Luke and his team in the fire kitchen. We’ll have tea coffee and Bloody Mary’s available and we’ll do an hour-long masterclass, incorporating several different cuts, cooking techniques, sauces and side dishes. You will then sit around our giant oak woodland feasting table for the best Sunday lunch imaginable - Lots of ex-dairy beef, dripping potatoes, HG garden veg, bone marrow gravy and all the trimmings. Tickets are strictly first come first served.
