December Updates from HG

So I’ve just finished writing the menu for Fridays High Grange Christmas Feast (Saturday is sold out) and we still have spaces available which I’m DEVASTATED about… This might be the one menu that I’ve written that I want to eat more than any other…. I’ve basically crow-barred all of my favourite things into a 5-course extravaganza of deliciousness… there’s local goose, line caught sea bass, crab! our own fartichokes, caviar! Crispy stuff, barbecued stuff, creamy basque burnt cheesecake with pedro Jimenez… BRIOCHE PRAWN TOAST (like a pumped up Chinese takeaway!) with ex-dairy fillet tartare and firepit canapés, cocktails… I REALLY want to sell these tickets. THIS FRIDAY NIGHT: Let’s go!

 HG Jerusalem Artichoke, Salt & Vinegar 

 Lyme Bay Sea Bass, Crab Curry, Prawn Crackers with Sichuan Pepper & Seaweed ‘Crack Dust’ 

 Brioche Prawn Toast, Ex-dairy Steak Tartare, Caviar 

 Roast and Smoked Goose, Hash Brown, Quince Gravy, Sprout Tops, Sesame Glazed Carrots 

 Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Pedro Ximenez, Apples, Bay Ice Cream


THIS WEEK’S TAKEAWAY + MILLERS BBQ SHACK

Our Friday night Takeaways are flying out the door and we are now offering Bar Buoy’s award-winning Cocktails to enjoy alongside. This week’s takeaway is BBQ-inspired Chinese back to this old skool firm favourite.

We’ve had a few requests for single portions so we’re going to offer it at the £20 per portion price. This week it’s for pick up at High Grange only as we have 2 other events on this Friday, plus Millers takeaways so its a busy HG day!

Turning to Millers, this week we’ll be there from Wednesday to Saturday from 12-2 serving up a Chinese-inspired lunch…
