Whole Hog BBQ Fire Supper - Friday 7 October

As the colder evenings draw in, we’d love to welcome you to our Fire Suppers - our informal supper clubs, with the same great ingredients and meticulous technique as our Feast nights, just a little bit more relaxed. From now until March we’ll seat you indoors in our cosy Shippen - think log burners and twinkly lights, surrounded by woodland. Note you can use your Cookbook Club vouchers towards these events too.

Next Friday is the HG Whole Hog!

The pinnacle of US Barbecue, but with a British vibe. A whole organic pig from our neighbours at Haye Farm, slow-smoked over oak embers in our breeze block smoker. The meat gets shredded with a sharp, sweet, spicy BBQ sauce and we’ll serve with traditional BBQ sides - Mac & Cheese, coleslaw and potato salad; as well as starters and pud.

We have our full wine list available, and the beautiful Gilt & Flint horsebox bar will be here to serve you with draft lagers and pale ale. Note we no longer offer BYO.
